Creating Opportunities for Older Adults to Give and Receive
Across Minnesota, older adults are thriving with support from Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS). With great care, integrity and expertise, we provide a wide range of innovative solutions for the changing needs of an aging population and their family members. Our goal is to help each individual find the right services at the right time, and keep the process simple.
Our trusted services are designed to ensure that older adults:
- Have high-quality options that support their independence, well-being, safety and relationships.
- Are choosing how, where and when they receive support.
- Are contributing time and resources to their communities.
In partnership with Minnesota neighbors we offer Caregiver Support and Respite, Senior Companions, Neighbor to Neighbor Companions, Community Companions (a partnership to prevent hospital readmissions), Foster Grandparents and LSS Meals services. Through Power of Attorney, Personal Representative of the Estate, and our Pooled Trust services we provide peace of mind to families and loved ones caring for an older adult. These services for older adults are part of a continuum of LSS services offered to address needs for Minnesotans in all stages of life.
