Adoption & Pregnancy Services
In our work to change children's lives, we can help you through a variety of our services. Our heart and our work is centered on the well-being of children and the understanding that there are many ways to form a family.
We find permanent, loving families for children of all ages and backgrounds.
With over 275 years of combined experience with Children's Home Society of Minnesota, we can help you build your family through adoption from foster care, domestic infant adoption or international adoption. Our child-centered approach, knowledgeable and caring professional staff, and unparalleled experience ensure our organization is one you can trust.
We support people of all ages who have a connection to adoption.
Our post adoption services are specially designed to help you as an individual — as well as your extended family and community — connect with your personal identity, history, experience and culture. Our domestic and international services include: search and reunion, requests for documents and non-identifying background information, correspondence and intermediary services, birthland tours and travel. Services are open to you, regardless of your placing agency.
In addition, we offer education and support groups to adoptees, birth families and adoptive families because we understand that adoption is a lifelong journey.
We can help you decide on a plan that is right for you.
We provide free, confidential, non-directive counseling to expectant mothers and fathers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Although we offer adoption services, we will respect any decision you make. We listen without judgment and provide information and support. This promise extends to family members and professionals who are inquiring on behalf of an individual facing an unplanned pregnancy.
