Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, in collaboration with Minnesota Heading Home, is committed to ending homelessness for Veterans.

Through LSS CORE, we offer Veterans supportive housing in the Twin Cities metro area that includes a rent subsidy and case management services. Our supportive case managers will walk with you to help you secure housing and achieve your personal goals.

If you are a Veteran experiencing homelessness, contact your local County Veterans Service Officer (CVSO) in the county where you live to begin the process. Your CVSO will help you determine if you are eligible for our Housing Services. If you are eligible, you will be referred to our Behavioral Health division to complete a comprehensive assessment. The assessment will identify your physical, emotional, financial and personal goals so our team can develop a comprehensive plan to help you achieve them.

If your assessment identifies that you have a housing need, you would be referred by our Behavioral Health division to LSS Housing Services. Our housing team would then work closely with you to secure a place to live, develop a support plan to help you achieve your goals and provide ongoing support.
