Estate & Planned Giving

For more than 150 years, LSS has worked for all people to have the opportunity to live and work in community with full and abundant lives.

You can help safeguard this vision for future generations while ensuring your financial resources continue to be used wisely beyond your lifetime by making a planned gift to LSS.

The Norelius Society

Our story began when Pastor Eric Norelius welcomed four orphans into his congregation's refurbished basement, creating Minnesota’s first and oldest children’s home. His legacy of generosity and service continues today through The Norelius Society, a group of individuals who have declared their intentions to include LSS in their estate plans.

Membership in The Norelius Society allows LSS to express our gratitude for your generosity. It also helps us ensure your intentions are honored when LSS receives your gift.

If you have already made plans to include LSS in your estate, please let us know by downloading, completing, and mailing our confidential letter of intent to:

Take the Next Step

There are many ways to make a planned gift. LSS can help you learn about the various planned giving options so that you can decide which options are right for you. We can also provide support and answer questions as you discuss your intentions and philanthropic goals with your loved ones.
