Become a Crisis Nursery Childcare Provider
Licensed childcare or foster care homes are needed to provide short-term emergency childcare. Providers share their love, lives and homes with children in need.
Often, parents who utilize Crisis Nursery don’t have trusted friends or family members to take care of their children while they deal with challenging situations. Parents who are dealing with crises such as sudden illness, housing problems, divorce or separation, financial strains, or other challenges, may need time alone to resolve the crisis or to get to appointments.
When a parent or legal guardian needs support and a safe place for their children to stay, they can contact Crisis Nursery to request short-term (up to three days) emergency care for their children — infant to 12 years old.

“Their time with me is short, but maybe I can comfort the three sisters in my care, ease their worries about their mom who is in the hospital and help them to see how much their mom loves them because she reached out for help. She wanted what was best for her girls, and right now, for this night, it's me. This is what I love to do. Reminding myself of that lifts my heart.”
