Serve and support your neighbors in partnership with LSS! Our dynamic Learn + Serve + Give events provide groups of all sizes with the opportunity to learn about a societal issue impacting our neighbors, serve through a hands-on project, and give via volunteerism in-kind donations or financial support.
Learn
LSS supports our neighbors in living full and abundant lives through services for children, youth and families, older adults and individuals with disabilities. Learn + Serve + Give events provide the opportunity to learn about an LSS service that aligns with your group’s interests. LSS will provide a corresponding presentation and empathy building exercise to enhance learning.
Camp Noah
A nationally acclaimed program where children in communities impacted by disaster can experience the power of hope and healing through a proven resiliency curriculum.
LSS Youth and Family Services
LSS' array of services help keep youth and children safe and supported by providing early intervention and prevention services, supportive shelters and housing options for youth experiencing homelessness, and services to restore and strengthen families.
LSS Community Residential Services
LSS' homes for individuals with disabilities are designed to help each person live as independently as possible, while still providing safe environment and the connection of the shared living experience.
The Foster Care and Adoption Programs of Children's Home and LSS
These programs help children thrive while strengthening and sustaining individual, family, and community life through adoption, foster care, and post-adoption services.
Serve
Contribute to your community and support your neighbors by selecting a hands-on service activity for your group to complete. LSS will provide your group with supply lists, project instructions and information for delivering completed projects.
Tie Blankets for Camp Noah
Assemble fleece tie blankets for children living in disaster impacted communities served by Camp Noah.
Hygiene Kits for LSS Youth Services
Assemble kits containing culturally appropriate hygiene products for highly mobile and low-income youth served by LSS.
Hygiene Kits for Community Residential Services
Assemble kits containing hygiene products for individuals with disabilities, many of whom live on small stipends and may be unable to purchase necessities.
Birthday Bags for Youth Experiencing Foster Care
Assemble birthday celebration bags for youth experiencing foster care, so that they can enjoy a festive birthday party!
Give
A financial contribution in support of LSS' work supports our neighbors through services that inspire hope, build community and change lives. LSS also welcomes giving through volunteerism and donations of commonly needed items.
