LSS Bethany

Services for children, youth and families

Children, youth and families in a circle LSS Bethany is a youth emergency shelter and a family resource center.

Youth Emergency Shelter

The Youth Emergency Crisis Shelter offers short-term, emergency housing in a safe, residential setting.

We provide support for the physical and emotional needs of children and youth. We recognize the unique reality of each young person’s situation. Our services emphasize responsible behavior, healthy relationships and working to achieve goals. Services are available 24/7.

Youth age 17 and younger are referred to the shelter by county social service providers, the court system and area law enforcement. Out of county referrals are also accepted.

Youth referred are often experiencing one or more of the following circumstances: family conflict, parental neglect, physical or sexual abuse, running away, delinquency, truancy, school difficulties, chemical abuse, emotional difficulties, or past or current out-of-home placement.
