Peter Winzig

As the Financial Well-being Program Manager, I am passionate about working to close the financial inclusion gap for everyone in America, by providing effective outreach and quality programs dedicated to promoting an individuals’ personal, educational and social growth when it comes to their financial capability and well-being.

Peter started with LSS in September 2017 as a Certified Consumer Credit Counselor, where he provided financial counseling services to hundreds of clients. Although his time as a Credit Counselor was brief, this experience has helped Peter lead the expansion of Financial Choice as a Workplace-based benefit program and better manage employer relationships by being able to explain in detail the processes and services LSS Financial Counseling is able to provide organizations’ employees, members and customers.

Prior to Peter joining LSS Financial Counseling, he worked as a Senior Marketing Director and IT Project Manager at a digital convergence company in South Korea and as a Recreation Center Director in Minnesota. His career spans over 20 years of leadership experience in international business and product development, strategic marketing, sales and communication and financial services in the public and private sectors. Peter earned his B.A. in East Asian Studies from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN and his M.S. in International Business Administration in Marketing from Sungkyunkwan University School of Business in Seoul, South Korea.
