Accommodations & Facilities at Camp Knutson
Our beautiful, updated 30-acre campus is located on a picturesque peninsula, surrounded by towering pines and nestled between the pristine waters of Lower Whitefish and Big Trout lakes.
Accessibility at Camp
We’ve designed Camp Knutson so that all campers have the opportunity to fully enjoy the camp experience. Our campus is accessible, with paved sidewalks and trails, accessible cabins and facilities, and indoor and covered activity spaces. In 2017, we completed our Waterfront Accessibility Project, making our beach areas and fishing docks safer and more accessible for campers. Our on-site health clinic ensures campers get the care they need during their stay.
All cabins at Camp Knutson have been recently built or remodeled and are fully accessible. We keep cabins comfortable year-round with heat and air conditioning. Cabins have attached, accessible bathroom facilities. Campers typically share a room with four or more other campers. Learn more about our cabins.
Healthy Meals Prepared On-site
Our kitchen staff takes great pride in preparing nutritious, balanced and delicious meals for campers and staff. Meals are prepared on-site and served family-style in our dining hall overlooking Lower Whitefish Lake. We can accommodate some special diets (mainly gluten free and vegetarian). It’s important that all dietary needs or concerns are shared well in advance to ensure the best service possible.
Games and Activities
We’re prepared to play at Camp Knutson! Games and activities are adapted so each camper can experience success. Our campus is equipped for many games and activities including:
- Ga-ga ball
- Low ropes Trust Course

Nature and Wildlife
Campers are never far from nature at Camp Knutson. Surrounded by forests and lakes, we see many birds and other wildlife. Campers can learn about the plants and animals around them at our Nature Center.
