Make a difference in the life of a child! Sharing your time and talent with Minnesota Hands & Voices is fun, easy, and rewarding. Magic happens here – come see for yourself. Volunteer opportunities range from working in the office weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm to working from home or helping with events evenings and weekends.

Event Volunteer
Time commitment: At least 2 events per year for metro area and 1 event per year for greater MN, typically 2-3 hours per event
Who: Individuals 18 or older, under 18 must have a parent present with them. ASL Interpreter students, community members, parents, grandparents...anyone who loves joining in a fun environment and loves hanging out with kids of all ages.
What: Attend events to provide on-site assistance to parents, children and MNH&V team members.
Requirements: Dedication to making a difference – commitment to providing help to families with the most amazing children! Signing or cueing skills – not required but greatly appreciated at the events. All volunteers must sign a volunteer agreement of confidentiality along with a few other key points, and a background check (the background check is of no cost to the volunteer).
