Permanent Supportive Housing - Willmar Area is for youth, up to age 24, who have an identified need and are experiencing homelessness.
Permanent Supportive Housing - Willmar Area assists youth in finding the type of home that they wish to live in. Whether it’s an apartment or house, we help manage the ins and outs of getting into that home.
As a participant, youth receive ongoing case management and a supportive voice to come alongside them, as well as assistance with independent living skills, educational needs, employment skills and career exploration. Case managers meet with youth weekly, and youth are provided with rent subsidy. The goal is for the youth to work toward self-sufficiency.
