Our Home & Family
On four acres of land near Detroit Lakes, our newly-remodeled home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Within walking distance from our home, Height of the Land Lake is a beautiful spot for cooling off with a summertime swim or enjoying a delicious picnic lunch.
I am a devoted mom to two boys and an infant girl. My family operates an organic dairy farm and we enjoy working together to make life a little easier for each other.
The Reason We Open Our Home
It is very rewarding to help people in their times of need. Now I have the space and time to focus on supporting someone in our home. It is important to me to do what I can to make a difference and fill another person’s life with extra love and happiness.
Our Traditions
We always spend holidays and birthdays together with family. Every first day of school or celebration is made extra special with a pizza party.
Our Faith & Values
Our family regularly attends church and the boys participate in youth groups and church camps. We believe in honesty, forgiveness and being a blessing to others. We will support someone in practicing their faith and attending church, if they choose.
Our Hobbies & Interests
We are a very active family. My boys and I enjoy camping, four-wheeler rides, horseback riding and rollerblading. In the summertime, we head to the lake to swim and fish all day and sit around a campfire at night. We also enjoy cooking and baking for friends, playing board games and watching movies, attending Christian music concerts and planning our next family adventure.
