Our Home & Family
We are a big family, with five of our seven children living at home. Two adult daughters are married with children of their own. We enjoy getting together with family and spending time on our pontoon in the summer, as well as bonfires, swimming in our pool, dancing, card games and board games. We attend church on Saturday evenings.
The Reason We Open Our Home
We have provided foster care for eight years and have adopted five children through the process. When we learned about adult foster care, we knew it was the direction we wanted to go.
Our Traditions
Every fall our family attends the Renaissance Festival. Our older daughters and their families join us. Every October we spend two nights and three days at Sandy Beach Resort.
Our Faith & Values
We attend church in Baxter on Saturday Nights. We value our faith and our family most in our life.
Our Hobbies & Interests
As a family, we enjoy hanging out together and playing games. We also enjoy dancing and music, pontoon rides, bonfires and swimming in the pool. We have several bikes and there is a trail across the road from us. With such a large family, we have lots of fun birthday parties.
