Our Home & Family
We are Justin and Amanda. We live in a large, two-story, ranch-style home with our two children and small dog. The home is accessible both inside and outside, and each bedroom includes its own bathroom. Our home is within city limits, just one block from a bike trail and close to many other amenities.
The Reason We Open Our Home
We would love to invite you to share our home and explore all the lakes the area has to offer. Both of us miss the friendships we built after a combined 25 years of supporting adults with disabilities. It is important to us to give in order to receive, and supporting adults in our home fits nicely with the gifts we have been given.
Our Traditions
We like to take an annual trip to South Carolina every July to spend a week being lazy at the beach on a little island by the coast. We love to celebrate birthdays and holidays with our extended families.
Our Faith and Values
Faith is important to our family. A higher power is at work with every big decision we make, steering us in the right direction. We believe in God and we believe in being good people by treating others with respect. We would support you in your faith and life values.
Our Hobbies and Interests
We have a great variety of interests and hobbies and we are always willing to try new things. Some of our favorite activities include walking, hiking, bike riding and bowling. We also enjoy going out to eat, going to the movies, reading, listening to music and traveling.
