Our support groups are designed specifically for military members and veterans. They are facilitated by staff who are experienced in working with military personnel, trained in trauma-informed care and versed in the unique challenges military personnel can face.

If you cannot find the right support group in your area, please let us know. We will be happy to facilitate a support group wherever there is a sufficient interest.

Military Sexual Trauma Therapy Group

This group in St. Cloud offers ongoing support for individuals who have experienced military sexual trauma. The group will incorporate information on trauma, anxiety reduction and mindfulness based on techniques in reducing symptoms related to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The group is facilitated by a psychologist experienced in group work and trauma-based therapies.

SMART (Self-Management & Recovery Training) Recovery Group

Support is an important step in recovery from addiction. Learn to manage thoughts, feelings, and behaviors for a successful recovery in this self-empowering addiction recovery support group. These sessions focus on motivation, coping with urges and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Veteran’s Caregiver Support Group

This group is open to spouses and caregivers of veterans who provide care for their physical and psychological needs. Participants will find an accepting and supportive environment to discuss their challenges, needs, and successes in their journey as caregivers.

Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month.
10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Veteran’s Family Recovery Support Group

The Veteran’s Family Recovery Support Group is a traditional addiction recovery support group where veterans share their experience, strength, and hope for continued sobriety. Family members learn to effectively support each other as they cope with addiction and recovery. Find support and cultivate hope for continued sobriety with other military families.

Veteran's PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) Support Group

Share your challenges and progress with others affected by PTSD. Listening to others’ stories and offering your own insights will create a supportive network of encouragement and healing.

Women's C.O.R.E. Support Group

This is a support group for partners of Veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This group is focused on education, skill building, positive relationships and other forms of support as needed. Discuss challenges, needs, and successes in a positive and hopeful environment.
