Mark Dubbels has been named associate vice president of Community Residential Services for St. Paul-based Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS), the oldest and one of the largest human service organizations in Minnesota. In his new role, he will oversee several divisions that support people with identified needs across the organization and continue to explore technology innovations that improve life quality.

“I am proud to be part of an important mission that equips people to live full and abundant lives that they imagine for themselves,” Dubbels said. “There is nothing more fulfilling than helping people and making a difference in people’s lives.”

Dubbels joined Lutheran Social Service in 2018 as senior operations director for Personal Support Services, helping to connect and support more than 750 people with identified needs statewide with housing, personal support, employment, and involvement in community life. In this position, he led 1,250 employees and has been instrumental in developing safety and performance initiatives to improve life quality outcomes for people served.

Prior to joining Lutheran Social Service, Dubbels was director of operational distribution for Cambria. Early in his career, he served as a building inspector in the real estate industry. Dubbels earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls.

Dubbels lives with his family in Cannon Falls and enjoys the outdoors, boating, snowmobiling, and four-wheeling.
