Powerful Tools For Caregivers

A class for caregivers, who are caring for a family member, friend or neighbor. 

This program will help you take care of yourself while caring for an older relative or friend. You will benefit from this class whether you are helping a parent, spouse, friend someone who lives at home, in a nursing home or across the country.

This class will give YOU, the caregiver, tools to:

  • Help you reduce stress
  • Communicate effectively with other family members, your doctor and paid help
  • Take care of yourself
  • Reduce guilt , anger and depression
  • Help you relax
  • Make tough decisions
  • Set goals and problem-solve

The program is a six-week series that meets virtually via Microsoft Teams for 1 ½ hours on Tuesdays. The class starts April 14 and ends May 19.

Cost: $30 for the workshop and the How-to-do-it book.
