Transitional Living Programs

Transitional Living Programs are designed to support homeless and at-risk youth in establishing and maintaining an independent household, while preventing future occurances of homelessness.

In addition to providing safe, stable living accommodations, Lutheran Social Service of MN (LSS) provides support and guidance to youth participating in transitional living programs to improve their basic independent living skills, provide educational opportunities, assist with job preparation and attainment, and to ensure their physical and mental health care needs are met.

LSS Transitional Living Programs are offered in the following Minnesota communities:
