Our initial results
At LSS, we have worked with many, many people. Currently we have a goal of 300 clients.
The following is a look at the number of clients that LSS has served:
- 651 clients have been referred by Hennepin County to LSS
- 362 clients have been invited to an overview session
- 345 clients have attended an overview session
- 350 clients are enrolled at LSS (117% of our goal!)
- 21 clients have not been enrolled due to sanctions
- 30 clients have not been enrolled due to exemptions
- 282 clients were still waiting to get invited to an overview
session at LSS in 1998
The number of clients that LSS has served in the past months
have not always been mainstream Americans. They have come form all over the world. For
example, LSS has worked with Somali, Hmong, Vietnamese, Laotian, Sudanese, Bosnian, Native
American, Mexican, Kurdish, Egyptian, and Ethiopian populations which makes LSS a very
diverse working environment.
