Opportunity Description: Come and be a friend and
employment guide for a refugee during the challenging first
months of living in a new culture. One of the biggest
difficulties facing a new refugee is finding employment in the
Twin Cities. Consider helping our clients to:
- Pinpoint their skills and
qualifications
- Assist in creating a resume
- Find and highlight
potential, realistic employment
- Aid in filling out job
applications
- Practice interview skills.
- Visit potential employers
and job sites
Time
Commitment:
3 hrs. per week.
