Mentors - LSS Housing Services
Population Served: Diverse individuals and families
who have experienced homelessness
Type
of Opportunity: Individuals or groups up to 4.
Opportunity Description: Work as a team to help
families achieve their goals! Working with LSS case
management, mentors help families make progress on short-term,
family initiated goals, providing accountability and support
as a family moves forward. Training and support provided.
Time
Commitment: 3 months initial commitment, ongoing. 4
- 8 hours per month. Suggested: A weekly phone call and
minimum of one outing per month with the family. A monthly
check-in via phone with the family's case manager.
