of Opportunity: Individuals. Reading, Tutoring,
creative problem solving
Opportunity Description: Are you interested in
helping kids learn and grow? This volunteer works closely with
LSS staff to develop and implement curriculum for the kids’
support and activity group at Journey Homes – our permanent
supportive housing unit. The group has focused in the past on
both academic success through tutoring and on social success
in the context of the family, friendships, classroom, and
neighborhood.
Time
Commitment:
Wednesdays between 4pm
– 7pm.
