Volunteer Driver - LSS Bethany Crisis Shelter
Population Served: Children and Youth
Type
of Opportunity: Individuals 21 years or older with
good driving record. Serving youth ages 0-17 years who are in
transition.
Opportunity Description: This position, available
in Duluth, will support the program by transporting children
and youth staying at the Crisis Shelter to school and
appointments and occasionally picking up orders from the Food
Bank. Skills needed: Experience working with children and
youth, ability to work independently and as well as in a team
environment, good driving record and good communication
skills. Background check required. Some lifting, driving,
walking. Orientation and training are provided.
Time
Commitment:
Schedule is flexible,
minimum of 3 hours, one day a week with a one year commitment
with the program preferred. The times volunteers are needed
are 7:00-10:00 a.m. and 2:00-5:00p.m.
