Volunteer Opportunities
The LSS Refugee and Employment Services department offers a variety of opportunities for you to get involved! We are looking for people with a passion and a heart for refugees to help our new arrivals settle into their new life in the Twin Cities. If you are someone who wants some hands-on experience, or are someone who would prefer to be behind the scenes, we have a place for you.

Hot Spots!
Training Lab Assistant – This is an opportunity to work one-on-one with refugee clients to find employment. Some tasks may be to help them highlight and tone their working skills, conduct mock interviews, search online for jobs and assist in skills trainings. It’s a great way to get to know our refugees!
Translator – We are currently in need of Somali translators on Tuesdays, during our walk-in hours. If you have a few hours, we will be glad to have you!
