Red Lake: Nine months later |

Immediately following the
horrific shootings at the Red Lake School in April, 2005, the LSS disaster
team, area churches, donors and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans joined
together to respond to the tragedy. It was too early to know how best to

LSS'
individual and anonymous donors who, in one way or another, show they
care, especially bless thousands of people who are assisted by Lutheran

Surviving trying times |
|
The news of
companies laying off workers doesn't get much attention these days because
it happens so often. So what happens to those people? We all hope that
these people find other jobs quickly, but the reality is that some don't.
For a time, Scott Norcross was one of those not so lucky. After working as
an IT professional, Scott was laid off. He found another job and was laid
