New Name, New Partners: Same Great Mission
For 10 years, the LSS Sponsor
A Family Program has helped make the holiday seasons brighter for over
1200 Twin Cities families in need. The commitment to share has helped us
meet our neighbors' needs for food, clothing and holiday gifts. We are
especially excited about this year's holiday season as Catholic Charities'
Adopt-A-Family Program joins Lutheran Social Service in combining
resources to serve over 3000 families in need. The new name for this
project is "Family Friends Holiday Program." 
You can still be involved.
Although the majority of our families are matched with sponsors by mid-November, there are still many opportunities for you to help. Please consider any of these options:

Donating grocery gift certificates from Cub Foods or Rainbow Foods to help provide families with a holiday meal.

Making a contribution in any dollar amount to help client families throughout the year.

Volunteering your time loading/sorting packages and matching gifts with families at our main office or warehouses.

Shopping and dropping-off general gift items that can be shared with families in need who emerge at the last minute.
