Matching gifts are a great way
to make your financial gifts go further. Usually offered through the
Community Affairs or Human Resource departments, many companies offer
matching gift programs that recognize an employee's community involvement
and volunteerism with cash donations to specific nonprofit organizations.
If your organization participates, please remember LSS! The process is
simple: just contact your company representatives for more information on
how to leverage your gift.
Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans offers its members an easy way to multiply their gifts to LSS.
Thrivent is encouraging LSS donors who are members of Thrivent Financial
to use the gift matches that are available. The process is so simple. When
you make a financial gift to LSS, just fill out the matching gift form -
found on the Thrivent web site or available through the LSS Development
Office: 651-969-2284. If you are a member but haven't applied your match
yet, please consider making your gift now - or, if you have already given
this year but did not request a match, you are probably still eligible.

If you are not currently a
member but would like to help LSS take advantage of this challenge grant
opportunity, Thrivent Financial is offering a new Associate Program for an
enrollment fee of $10.00. Please contact the LSS Development Department at
