Lutheran Social Service has
numerous supported living services (SLS) throughout the state,
which provide a comfortable living environment for people with
various developmental and physical disabilities. SLS sites
support three to four individuals who live together in a house
or apartment.
The people living in supported
living environments receive services that are individually
designed to meet the unique needs of each person. Lutheran
Social Service offers guidance, care and the support necessary
to help each person live as independently as possible while
still providing a safe, respectful environment. All SLS
residences provide staff who are available on a 24-hour basis.
