LSS Crisis and Transitional
services are for children, up to age 17, with developmental
disabilities and acute placement needs. The LSS Children's
Crisis and Transitional programs in Bloomington, Minnesota, can
provide service for up to four children each. The purpose of
these two programs is to help children who are in crisis to
stabilize by providing them support and guidance needed to
function successfully in the community.
LSS provides a structured
learning environment. Staff provides ongoing supervision,
maintains day-to-day continuity, addresses behavioral needs, and
helps children develop coping and adaptive skills.
