Lutheran Social Service Of
Minnesota (LSS) traces its roots back to 1865, and has been
supporting people with developmental disabilities since 1954.
Currently, LSS provides services to more than 650 individuals
with developmental disabilities throughout the state.
Our guiding principles:
Those we support come first.
Advocacy and supporting the needs of each individual are
our primary concerns. Their growth, health, and safety are
the first considerations in every decision. We focus on
the whole person assisting each individual achieve their hopes,
dreams, and personal goals.

person's satisfaction and successes in living a full and
productive life within their community.
