ASD Strategies in Action: Free online training for people who support someone with autism

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) offers free online training for families, providers and others who want to know more about working with and supporting people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related conditions.

The training, “ASD Strategies in Action,” provides practical information and skills, through real-life examples in the home, school, community and workplace. The course in an online video-based training program.

This program gives families and service providers tools to ensure they are equipped to care for, support, educate, employ or work with people with ASD effectively from early childhood to young adulthood. The program organizes training courses by age and strategy to allow easy access to the information that is most relevant to the user.
