We Take the Work Out of Eating Healthy

Chili bowl LSS Meals offers delicious, healthy meal options that are available statewide. You can choose from our multiple services offering nutritious, homestyle meals without all the work.

Our meals are designed by a registered dietitian to provide variety and are carefully portioned with a balance of proteins, carbohydrates and spices to meet dietary needs. Adjusted meals are available for individuals with special dietary needs, such as those who are diabetic or require a reduced sodium or vegetarian diet.

Our LSS Meals services support older adults in living healthier, more active and independent lives, and making eating fun and easy. We also serve individuals experiencing food insecurities or who need assistance with nutrition or nutrition requirements.

We have LSS Community Dining Centers and LSS Meals on Wheels in 165 communities in 39 Minnesota counties. Services vary by location. Our LSS Meals to Go shipment service is available statewide.

LSS Meals is also a recognized food vendor serving youth meals for Federal Nutrition programming such as the National School Lunch Program.

Diner’s Clubs

Local restaurants offer meals for older adults, aged 60 and older, throughout the day or over the lunch hour with no reservations required. These locations offer more menu choices than an older adult dining center. In addition, older adults can eat at these sites with friends and family members.

LSS Community Dining Centers

Our LSS Community Dining Centers offer well-balanced, great tasting hot meals and the opportunity for social interaction in a friendly, community atmosphere.

LSS Food Vendor Services

LSS Meals is ready to meet your food service needs! Our registered dietitians create diverse, fresh, nutritious meals to comply with federal guidelines for child care, schools, and older adults. We are a recognized food vendor serving youth meals for Federal Nutrition programming such as the National School Lunch Program.

LSS Meals on Wheels

Volunteers deliver locally prepared meals and perform a safety check for those who might be unable to leave their homes. We can also provide meals for weekends.

LSS Meals to Go

Enjoy frozen nutritious meals that are hassle free and shipped statewide for free. LSS Meals to Go is perfect for individuals looking to try something new or living in rural areas without a local LSS Meals on Wheels or LSS Community Dining Center.
