Norals
Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Norals joined LSS in July
2000. In her position as vice president, she provides strategic direction
of Human Resources, overseeing recruitment, compensation and benefits
administration, organizational development and training, and employee
relations for the agency's 2,200 employees statewide. Prior to LSS, Norals
served in Human Resource management for Honeywell's Commercial Aviation
Systems Division. Most of her career experience was with Canadian Pacific
Railroad where she served as director of personal and managed Human
Resources for the U.S. operations and 5,500 employees. Norals received her
Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University, and Master of Arts in
Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota
Carlson School of Management. She is a member of the Society for Human
Resource Management and Twin Cities Human Resources Association. Norals is
also certified in Organizational Development by the National Training
Institute in Bethel, Maine, and is certified in Change Management from the
Institute of Practitioners of Change in Calgary, Alberta.
