LSS Housing Services
The goal of LSS Housing Services is to prevent and end homelessness in our community through acts of service. This mission makes sense both spiritually and economically; it is far more compassionate and cost effective to prevent homelessness now than try and manage it in the future. We believe that by working with one family (and one child) at a time, LSS will prevent future generations of family homelessness. Over the past few years it has become clear that more and more families are experiencing long-term homelessness, and this has devastating effects on children and families. LSS Housing Services has made serving this population our priority.

Our goal supports Minnesota Housing’s strategic goals: “ending long-term homelessness and obtaining affordable options for those who are experiencing homelessness and are active members of the labor force.” Click here to learn more about Minnesota’s plan to end long-term homelessness.

Throughout the changes and passage of time, LSS Housing Services has remained a voice of strength and an arm of comfort for those in need of affordable housing. To achieve our mission of preventing and ending homelessness, we offer a continuum of services to meet families where they are now, on their path toward maintaining and obtaining affordable housing.
