Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How can I apply for LSS housing programs?

A. Most of our housing program vacancies are filled through a referring agency or school and do not allow for us to accept self-referrals. For those who may qualify for Journey Homes Permanent Supportive Housing Program, you can call the Property Management Company to request an application.

Q. Can I call you for a referral to Bridging?

A. No. Bridging referrals must come from your case manager or advocate. If you do not have a case manager at LSS, then we cannot provide you with a referral.

Q. Does LSS Housing have donations like clothes or furniture?

A. No. We accept donations (see our “Wish List"), but these donations are placed directly with families currently in one of our programs.

Q. Can you help me pay my deposit or first month’s rent?

A. No, we do not have cash assistance.

Q. What kinds of housing programs do you have?

A. Please see our “About Us” page.

Q. Do you have a homeshare program that matches homeowners with renters?

A. No, we no longer have this type of program.

Q. I have some properties and I’d like to find renters. Can you help?

A. Yes, we do work with landlords who want to rent to families in our housing programs. Please call our office and ask for an Owner Outreach coordinator.
