GivingPlus: Make your financial gift to LSS go further!

If you're a member of Thrivent Financial, you can make your contribution to Lutheran Social Service go further through GivingPlus, Thrivent's matching gift program.

The GivingPlus Program
Through the GivingPlus Program, your financial gift of cash, check or money order to LSS may be supplemented by Thrivent Financial. (Stock or mutual fund share transfers also are acceptable.)

Thrivent Financial members age 16 or older are eligible to participate in the GivingPlus Program. Thrivent Financial will contribute $1 for every $2 donated by members to eligible and enrolled Lutheran organizations, based on the following guidelines:

Members can donate to two different eligible and enrolled organizations of their choice each year, and have their donations supplemented by Thrivent Financial.

Member donations can be for any amount, up to $600 for each organization per year.

Thrivent Financial will contribute $1 for every $2 donated, up to a maximum supplement of $300 per organization, per year.

Members can donate whenever they like (e.g., monthly, quarterly, etc.). The supplemented dollars for your donation will be provided once the paperwork is received and processed.

Increase Your Donation Through Volunteering
When you contribute 25 or more hours of volunteer service to the organization you have supported with an eligible GivingPlus gift, Thrivent Financial will contribute an additional $25 per year. (Be sure to complete the volunteer hour bubble on the member gift form.)
