Bridging the gap between independent
living and 24-hour skilled nursing homes
By partnering with apartment building
owners and managers, LSS is providing an exceptional service for seniors
who need assistance, but who don't need a 24-hour skilled nursing
facility. LSS Customized Living Services is offered in many areas of
Minnesota. Its in-building programs operate to serve residents seven days
per week for at least 8 hours per day, which allows individuals to age
in place with dignity and independence.
The service is offered within apartment
buildings that have a Housing with Services Certificate and is designed
to cater to varying needs of individuals, from those people who need
light housekeeping to those who need multiple visits by staff throughout
the day, including Registered Nurse oversight.
Our staff can provide your choice of the
following services:
- Safety checks (at least two visits per
day)
- Medication Assistance
- Routine delegated medical, nursing or
therapy procedures
- Incidental Nursing Service
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Weekly Laundry
- Transportation and Socialization
- Weekly shopping
- Help with hair-care, nail-care, oral
hygiene, dressing, bathing and linen changes
- Personal hygiene
- Exercise reminders
- Dietary assistance
