-
Befriend an adult with disabilities. Visit them, make them feel special with a card on their birthday and just be a friend.
-
Spruce up the grounds of a home in the spring and help rake the lawn, trim bushes and plant flowers.
-
Paint building trim on homes or give fresh coats of paint in bedrooms.
-
Help maintain a garden with vegetables or flowers.
-
Brighten a person's room and sew curtains.

Dale and Ben regularly visit eight vulnerable adults who struggle with depression, dementia, physical limitations, and other aging issues.
They've made lasting friendships by visiting and reading to these frail adults, taking them on wheelchair rides, going on short trips in the community and bringing them special gifts.
Their genuine, caring concern grows out of deep Christian love. And they feel personal rewards by helping to fill the space left by absent family members.
