Servant
of Christ Awards - 2007
Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota recognizes a congregation, or partnering congregations, in each of the six ELCA synods every year as the recipient of the LSS Servant of Christ Award. These congregations that are leaders in social ministry and social justice in their community, have a connection to LSS services in their area, and faithfully provide financial support for the service ministry of Lutheran Social Service.
On behalf of the people LSS serves every year, we extend our gratitude and thanks to these congregations and the many others across Minnesota that have made a strong commitment to serving and ministering to kids and families, seniors and people with disabilities in our state.
Thank you for your interest in nominating a congregation for the 2008 LSS Servant of Christ Award.
The Award recognizes one congregation in each of the six ELCA synods in Minnesota for outstanding outreach, service, and social justice ministry.
Complete information about the Award, past recipients, and the nominating form, will be available at this address for online nominations starting January 14th. Nominations will be accepted until March 3, 2008.
