Giving through your will

What is a will?
A will is a legal document prepared during your lifetime to direct your assets to the people and causes you care about.

Without a will, the state will determine what becomes of your property, which family members will receive it and in what proportions. Everyone, whether rich or of more modest means, should have a will.

Through a will, you can:

  • Determine the distribution of your estate after your death
  • Create a tax-effective estate plan
  • Designate a guardian for your children
  • Fulfill your lifetime dream of helping others through a favorite charity, school or religious organization

When you have properly provided for your family in planning your will, we hope that you will find a place for LSS. By making a bequest to LSS, you will be helping LSS in its mission of expressing the love of Christ for all people through acts of service.
