Special Needs Waiting Children

Featured Waiting Child – Nicholas Nicholas (3/07) is a sweet boy who enjoys playing with toys that play music and have lights. Nicholas has a great smile, likes to move around a lot, and is a very busy little guy!

Nicholas has had a lot of medical issues in his short life. He has made huge gains and currently receives services through the school district for OT, PT, vision and speech. Nicholas’ main way of communicating is through screaming, whether he is happy or upset; although this has gotten a little better. He does best when not overly stimulated.

Nicholas will do best in either a one or two parent family with not too many children due to over stimulation. Due to Nicholas’ special needs, experienced families may be best; however, families without parenting experience will also be considered.
