LSS staff members have guided hundreds of families along their
adoption journey and are here to assist you through your own
journey.
Adoption Services
LSS assists clients with their application, Adoption Home
Study, dossier preparation, application to the Department of
Homeland Security (USCIS), state and federal authentications (as
needed), orientation and preparation for cross-cultural
adoptions, child referrals, travel or child escort services,
partnership with other referring agencies, post-placement
services, Minnesota adoption finalization, and
citizenship/naturalization services.
Our Programs
LSS currently serves as a placing agency for families adopting children from
Colombia and Ghana.
For MN residents, we also offer comprehensive Home Study Only
and post placement services that are fully Hague compliant. This option gives MN families greater
flexibility in mixing and matching the accredited Home Study Agency and accredited Placing Agency
without limitations to create a customized program that best fits your needs.
We have assisted many families in completing adoptions throughout the world from countries such as Brazil,
China, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Marshall Islands, Mongolia, Philippines, Poland, Russia,
Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, Vietnam and many more utilizing a wide variety of Placing Agencies.
