Pre-Adoption Education Workshops

Because it is such an integral part of the adoption process, all prospective adoptive parents are required to attend the Adoption Education Workshop prior to the completion of their Adoption Study. The goal is to provide families with information to better prepare them to parent children through adoption. The workshops cover topics such as Attachment, Grief & Loss, Institutionalization, Cross Cultural Issues and Open Adoption. Included is a panel presentation comprised of adoptive parents, adopted adults and birth parents.
