International Pre-Adoption Education Workshops

Once you have registered for an International Adoption with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, you will receive an application packet to begin the Adoption Study process.

As you begin working on the application paperwork, you should schedule your Pre-Adoption Education Training. A portion of this training is completed through our online education partner, Adoption Learning Partners while the remaining requirements are fulfilled in person during a one-day workshop at Lutheran Social Service.

Families will need to have the application paperwork and the on-line training completed prior to attending the in-person workshop. The combined on-line and in-person training is a required part of the Adoption Study process and meets all Hague requirements to help facilitate your adoption process through the country of your choice.

Prior to the workshop, you will receive a letter confirming your registration, a map with directions and information on hotels in the area.
