Domestic Adoption - Infant and Open Adoption Agency Program

Open Adoption

In Open Adoption, children grow up without secrets and with information about their Birth family. The child has contact with their Birth family along with full awareness of the love that went into their adoption plan.

What is Open Adoption?
Open Adoption is when birth families and adoptive families meet, select each other and work cooperatively toward the placement of a child for adoption. Together, the families also plan a relationship that goes beyond the placement and it is on-going, active and involves varying degrees of direct contact with each other. Contact is planned by the families with the best interests of the child as the focus and is most often a celebration of the adoption together.
