Lutheran Social Service has been a leader in recognizing the opportunity and the viability of Designated Adoptions for families and we have responded by developing services to best meet the needs of the various types of Designated Adoptions.

Collaborative Relationships
LSS has developed and maintains effective collaborations with outside resources critical to a Designated Adoption process such as Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC), American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, Indian Law Center, and Department of Human Services Adoption Assistance Department.

Customized Services
An LSS social worker will consult with you, and with other professionals involved in your adoption situation, to establish the needs and prepare an individual plan to meet those needs to complete your adoption.
