Playground Build
The Center for Changing Lives received a new playground thanks to the generosity of Faegre and Benson Law firm in Minneapolis. In addition, 25 Volunteers from Faegre & Benson spent a beautiful fall day building the new play space. Today, kids from the Park Ave Apartments and other services at The Center enjoy this great space. Read the KARE11 story.

Community Volunteer Award & Spirit of Giving Award
Sue and Jane were recognized by the LSS Staff in Duluth for their outstanding service to LSS during National Volunteer Appreciation Recognition event in April 2010. Sue received the Community Volunteer Award with her work at Renaissance Transitional Living. Jane received the Spirit of Giving Award with her work at Bethany Crisis Shelter. Both have a long history with LSS and continue give their all every time they volunteer. The staff and clients deeply appreciate all that they do and continue to do change lives at LSS!
