Dan Williams is a Minnesota expert on debt and housing foreclosure issues. As Program Director for LSS Financial Counseling Services, Dan manages a team of certified housing counselors in Greater Minnesota that helps individuals and families avoid foreclosure or prepare for a “soft landing” by determining the best options for their unique situations. He also manages debt, reverse mortgage and bankruptcy counselors. With a decade of experience in the field, he has a first-hand view of how foreclosure issues affect people’s lives and is wealth of information on many other housing and financial issues, from consumer scams to the benefits and pitfalls of reverse mortgages.

Since 1987, Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota has become the largest provider of housing and financial counseling and education in Minnesota—helping over 20,000 people every year with free budget and debt counseling, foreclosure prevention counseling and monthly debt management plans.
