Areas of Expertise: Youth homelessness, youth development, positive youth development, rural homelessness,

Education and Licensure: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Women’s Studies with minor in Business Administration from Minnesota State University – Mankato.

Professional Experience: Patrice’s career at Lutheran Social Service began 14 years ago as a program manager for housing and energy assistance programs in community of Brainerd. Since then she has been responsible for operations of programs in behavioral health, youth homelessness, and housing in both Brainerd and Willmar. In 2011 Patrice was named the Senior Director Youth, Housing & Family Resources. O’Leary serves on the board of directors for Rural Minnesota CEP offering workforce development programs in Central Minnesota and previously served on the governing board for Bridges of Hope. In 2013 Patrice received the CEO Leadership Excellence Award, given annually to an individual who is recognized by colleagues for exceptional leadership. Prior to joining LSS, she worked as a media director for a national advertising agency based in Brainerd.

Media Appearances: Patrice has served as a resource on homelessness for the Brainerd Dispatch and other community newspapers.
